- Our client is looking for an experienced Production Head to organize and oversee the manufacturing of high performance, futuristic machinery and goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output to execute production of machineries for Paper Industry equivalent to 400 TPD.

- We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we- d like to talk to you.

- The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

- Experience in shop floor with thorough understanding of manufacture of fabricated, welded, mechanical assemblies pertaining to Paper manufacturing machineries. You shall lead a team of engineers and shall be responsible for planning, organizing and daily management of shop floor to achieve the set targets of the factory. Exposure to world class manufacturing practices will be an added advantage.

Requirements :

- Must have experience in Heavy Engineering, Manufacturing or Assembly industry.

- Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.

- Knowledge of ISO processes and lean Manufacturing processes is must

- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes

- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

- Address employee's issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements.

- Influence and learn from below Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts

- Introducing systematic production methods

- Organize the factory production process

- Estimate costs and prepare budgets

- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines

- Monitor production to resolve issues

- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)

- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)

- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc

Qualification :

- 10 to 15 year of proven experience as Production / Manufacturing Head.

- Must be an Engineering Graduate (production / mechanical or Industrial Engineering )

- Should have work experience in handling complete manufacturing process starting from Foundry, Fabrication, Machining and Assembly .

- Should be able to converse in Tamil ( local language) apart from English
