Production Line Leader (5-8 yrs)
ROLE SUMMARY
- The Production Line Leader is responsible for the effective planning and deployment of manpower within the production line.
- This role involves ensuring adherence to the production plan, maintaining quality standards, and managing daily operations to meet production targets.
- The Production Line Leader reports directly to the Production Supervisor and Production Manager.
ATTRIBUTES:
Leadership: Ability to effectively manage and motivate associates on the production floor.
Organizational Skills: Proficiency in planning shift manpower and work allocation.
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of production processes and quality systems.
Attention to Detail: Ensures adherence to SOPs and maintains a zero-defect overflow.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Supervisor Role's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Manpower Planning
Plan shift manpower and work deployment, arrange associates, and allocate work.
Daily Production Plan
Adherence
Ensure timely completion of the production plan in line with the schedule.
Daily Quality System Compliance
- Ensure all work adheres to the established quality system.
- Ongoing SOP Compliance Follow all SOPs to ensure zero defect overflow.
Ongoing Non-Conformance Control
- Control non-conforming products and processes; manage product changeovers.
- Ongoing System Adherence Ensure that all systems are followed properly. Ongoing
- Additional Tasks Perform any other tasks assigned by superiors.
- As required Production Schedule Update Daily updating of the production schedule and ensuring material availability.
- Daily Safety Maintenance Maintain a zero-accident environment on the production floor.

KEY EXPERIENCES, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Education: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics).
Experience: 5 - 8 years of work experience in production/manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of production processes and quality control measures.
Communication: Effective communication skills to coordinate with production supervisors and other departments.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage shift manpower and oversee production activities.
Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe production environment.
