Production Manager (6-8 yrs)
An upcoming food proceesing plant at Nashik with a state of the art technology is looking out for a dedicated and committed "Production Manager"
The incumbent will organise and oversee the manufacturing of food, namely Jams Ketchups & fruit juices
He/ she will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output
He / she is expected to have a complete know-how of the food production procedures.
Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set apart as a leader, having a high decision and problem solving skills.
The incumbent will be responsible for following:
1. Liaise with other managers / executives to formulate objectives and understand requirements
2. Estimate Costs and prepare budgets
3. Organise workflow to meer specifications and dealines
4. Monitor production to resolve issues
5. Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel ( quality inspectors, workersetc)
6. Determine amount of necessary resources ( workforce, raw materials etc)
7. Ensure output meets quality standards
8. Enforce health and safety precautions
9. Report to upper management
Candidate should be MTech in Food Technology having 6-8 years in FMCG line preferably with MNC experience
