Production Manager/Lead - CNC (6-15 yrs)
The Client :
A specialist in producing high precision-machined components for a diverse range of industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Textile, Hydraulic and Pneumatic serving Large and small Global companies as their valued customers. Currently in expansion mode they are looking at doubling their revenue in the next 3 to 5 years
The Role : Production managers ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently to meet the business plan.
The description :
Senior level person responsible for the following :
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Assessing resource requirements on a ongoing basis to meet the plan.
- Overseeing production processes to be in line with plan and also meets the quality and safety standards set by the company
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure there is no stoppage of the line due to material issues
- Work closely with maintenance dept to ensure planned and unplanned maintenance work happens with minimal impact to business
- Supervising the work of junior staff
- Organizing relevant training sessions
- Suggestions for process improvement with regards to production
- Support other key initiatives of the management in terms of expansion plans as necessary
The Person for the role :
- Engineering graduate with about 5 - 12 Years of Experience in working in production department with atleast 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in high precision machined components with good understanding of Automats, Sliding Head Machines and CNC Machines
- Depth knowledge about the technology, process and machine management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and team management skills.
