Production Manager - Manufacturing Operations (10-15 yrs)
Job description : Production managers ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
Responsibilities of the job include :
- Planning and organizing production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- The candidate should be able to utilize the resources effectively
- Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
- Cost control measures should be taken care by the candidate is an effective manner
- Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations and statutory are met
- Determining quality control standards and continuously improving it considering the quality and costing
- Overseeing production processes
- Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
- Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Supervising the work of junior staff
- Organizing relevant training sessions
