Responsibilities :

1. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and production targets.

2. Implement MRP systems to ensure timely availability of materials for production.

3. Assist in planning production capacities to align with demand forecasts and contractual commitments.

4. Monitor and track the progress of customer orders through the production process.

5. Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses, optimizing working capital.

6. Collaborate with procurement teams to coordinate the timely procurement of raw materials.

7. Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.

8. Analyse production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) for process improvement.

9. Implement strategies to reduce lead times and enhance overall production efficiency.

10. Prioritize orders based on customer requirements and production constraints.

11. Collaborate with the sales team to align production plans with customer demand forecasts.

12. Identify and implement initiatives for continuous improvement in production planning and control processes.

13. Assess and report on potential risks associated with production planning and control activities.

14. Maintain accurate records of production plans, schedules, and performance metrics.

15. Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders in accordance with contractual agreements.

Qualification :

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

2. Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
