Superior Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for a leader in digital security based out of their Montgomeryville, PA office. This is a 3rd shift position, 10:30pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday.

This position will be responsible for the management of Finishing and Printing teams. Review team assignments in the form of objectives with goals and determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Direct the short- and long-term activities of the production lines to meet company objectives and goals around World Class Manufacturing Enterprise while continually meeting customer demands.

Provide an environment of continuous improvement to production processes that result in advances in quality, yield, productivity and lower costs. Support the Finishing & Printing employees in continual improvement by acting as a resource in applying and ultimately teaching problem solving skills and meeting facilitation skills.

Responsibilities :

- Understand, embrace and disseminate the plant's direction and goals in World Class Manufacturing through the application of the lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Analysis, TPM, Six Sigma and Setup Reduction.

- Act as a resource and trainer in the application of various problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective action skills.

- Design and implement a plan to provide cross-training to Finishing & Printing employees that maximize their value to the team.

- Support the production lines in collaborative, autonomous decision making to facilitate the team's self-directed improvements.

- Support the daily activities of the production lines according to the team's production schedule and apply the necessary adjustments when needed according to current issues.

- Plan, delegate and control work assignments

- Review salaries/wages of others and recommend changes as appropriate

- Recommend new hires, promotions, transfers, demotions, disciplinary action and terminations of employment

- Conduct performance reviews

- 5% - Collect and report to the production lines the current status of the lines in regards to customer satisfaction, company objectives or goals, process quality data and equipment reliability.

- 5% - Manage the Finishing & Printing employees according to company policies including attendance, ezlabor, security, safety, corrective action, performance appraisals, etc.

- 5% - Collaborate with production manager and NORAM operations manager on production goal setting.

5% - Support the production team's daily activities in accordance to our defined ISO procedures and modify these procedures based on process improvement made by the production teams.

Required Skills/Qualifications :

Associate's Degree required :

- 3+ years of production supervisory experience in a manufacturing

- Six Sigma Green Belt
