ROLE SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production line within the High-Speed IO business unit. This role involves managing production personnel, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and meeting production targets. The Production Supervisor works closely with the Production Manager to implement production plans and improve operational efficiency.

- Assist in training and developing production staff to enhance skills and improve performance.

- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies on the production floor.

Ongoing Problem Resolution - Identify, analyze, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Ongoing Reporting - Maintain accurate records of production activities and report on performance to the Production Manager.

- Suggest and implement improvements to optimize production processes and enhance product quality.

Ongoing KEY EXPERIENCES, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE

Education: Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience: 8+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of production processes and machinery.

- Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and oral, in English & Kannada.

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a production team.

- Hands-on Experience: Willingness and ability to engage in hands-on work.

- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.

- Certifications: Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies is preferred.
