Job Description :

- Responsible to lead a team of engineers & designers for body system

- Understand the customer requirement & converting it to technical specifications in line with the vehicle, Body area requirements from Concept till Validation launch and post launch support.

- Interact with the COC Heads for the timely execution and completion of project wrt TOP hat perspective.

- Should have complete knowledge of product development cycle, design gates and handled at least one full TOP hat program

- Lead and guide the team in decision making for releases of components and assemblies, cost, weight and quality balancing with the Project planning,

- Ensure delivery at every milestones as per Project time, plan and the schedule.

- Good understanding of BIW and would be able to mentor the issue resolution teams

- Detail knowledge of Catia, PLM, PDM software

- Good understanding of fundamentals of engineering, GD&T and Tolerance stack-up, DVA, Material, manufacturing techniques & processes, regulatory requirements, new / emerging technology in automotive vehicles in particular Body and Trims Area.

- Continuously track/benchmark various Design Concepts for Body system and plan incorporation of these in the vehicle programs as per the agreed PAT targets.

- Prepare Technology Roadmap of relevant areas and initiate projects to develop these technologies as per agreed time plan.

- Understanding of domestic/international regulations

Knowledge of manufacturing processes :

- Dealing effectively with multiple demands and priorities

Experience Level : 17 - 21 years

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech
