Project Architect - Real Estate (5-8 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Coordination: Lead the design coordination team, working with design architects, structural engineers, local body architects, and other consultants to achieve desired project outcomes.
2. Drawing Analysis: Analyze and discuss architectural, structural, and services drawings prepared by consultants. Optimize and revise drawings as needed to improve efficiency.
3. Architectural Drawings: Prepare and revise architectural drawings based on discussions with directors and project requirements.
4. Design Planning: Assist in the design planning stage by preparing studies, layouts, and preliminary work related to architectural project requirements.
5. Vendor Discovery and Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors to ensure timely work with high quality and clarity of scope before execution.
5. Construction Drawings: Prepare "Good for Construction" (GFC) drawings for site use.
6. Site Visits: Visit sites to ensure workmanship quality and compliance with issued drawings; instruct necessary changes.
7. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project/construction managers to review site progress.
8. Contractor Approval: Approve contractor bills by verifying the percentage of completed work and quality billed.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3DMax, etc)
- Knowledge of local architectural norms.
- Ability to create design presentations.
- Basic knowledge of Excel.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Familiarity with BIM (Revit, Navisworks, etc)
