Project Cost Controller (18-28 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Accelerate the costing process for ongoing business development activities to ensure timely estimations.

- Preparation of Schedule of Rates, Assessment of Project Feasibility upon receipt of scope of works, BOQs, Schedule, etc.

- Preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR), Preparation of NIT cost estimate based on BOQ.

- Preparation of Budget estimates based on concept drawings and initial brief.

- Preparation of Detailed estimates at Design Development Stage.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of project costs, including materials, labor, and other expenses.

- Continuously improve current cost management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Support the development, review, and improvement of purchasing strategies in regard of Project Cost Controlling.

- Prepare and monitor cash flows during the entire project lifecycle.

- Oversee purchasing activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget constraints.

- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and contract terms.

- Ensure the procurement process aligns with project requirements and timelines.

- Assist in managing and processing claims related to ongoing projects.

- Bill certification of various contractors/vendors every month.

- Provide advice on contractual claims, especially on variations claims.

- Looking after the issues related to Project Management pertaining to all projects.

- Review of contracts documents, including conditions of contracts, with a view to render timely advice to the Project managers to safeguard company interests.

- Ensuring up-to date correspondence with the projects pertaining to contractual matters Preparation of documents for alliances.

- Knowledge of FIDIC/Indian contracting system/ Indian contract act/ Indian arbitration and conciliation act is required.

- Act as a backup to the Project Manager and support administrative tasks at job site as needed, ensuring project continuity.
