Job Role: Assist Project Manager in all the project related activity.
Requisite Skills and Knowledge for this Position:
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as Auto CAD.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Working with Project department of Chemical manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of Basic Mechanical Engineering, skill to Coordinate with
Vendors and service providers.
- English language proficiency,
- Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Time management and organization skills.
- Hands on Office management exposure would be an added advantage.
Job Description:
- Co-ordination between Project consultant, project site and the department
- Visit project site to monitor project progress and ensure that the construction work is as per the actual Drawings.
- To assist project Manager for Project Management, Idea evaluation, value
engineering, vendor development and assessment, technical calculation, drawing preparation, documentation, record keeping.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
- Preparing project status reports and regularly reporting to the project manager
- Interact daily with the consultant or 3rd party contractor, stake holders and other departments to communicate requirement, provide updates and resolve problems.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
