Project Engineer - New Product Development (3-12 yrs)
Job Description :
1. The position requires a highly motivated, self starter and experienced in manufacturing in precision sheet metal industry
2. Project Management and Proficiency in AUTO CAD / Solid works / SAP / GD&T
3. Tool design & development of stamping parts
4. Must know Sheet metal design & developments and manufacturing process like stamping, turret, laser, WEDM, Press brake
5. Exposure in sheet metal fabrication and Machining exposure, and also well knowledge of Automobiles component
6. Expertise in handling projects from concept to commissioning stage & handling various projects activities that includes planning, monitoring, execution, machine equipment & man power planning to ensuring timely completion
7. Project Planning, Execution & Customer Handling
8. Process Planning and new product development (NPD)
9. Project/ product timeline planning starting from RFQ stage to till handover to production.
10. Design as per application & Specifications, provide materials to customer
11. Ensure the department is operating as per ISO quality system.
12. Costing of New Product/part and submission to Marketing department or customer.
13. Supplier assessment, selection and Vendor development
