Job purpose:

- Supervision, quality & quantity checks of the Optic Fibre Network proposed in the UG Cable works in R R Nagar of BESCOM, Bangalore.

Qualification Requirement:

Degree or PG in Electrical/E&C/Telecommunication Engineering.

Experience:

More than 3 years of professional experience on supervision/construction of Optic Fibre Cable works with BSNL/JIO/AIRTEL/VODAFONE.

Required Skill:

- Detailed knowledge of supervision/construction of Optic Fibre Cable works with BSNL/JIO/AIRTEL/VODAFONE.

- Experience in Quality Assurance, Inspection, Monitoring of Optic Fibre cable works.

- Awareness of IS/IEC specifications, BOQ, drawings and contracts of Optic Fibre cable works.

- Project Management and good communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Site inspection for construction of optic fibre works along with UG cable works.

- Preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports of progress of works.

- Arranging for field inspection by Supervisors and coordinating with the utility.

- Training the supervisors for supervising the OFC works in the assigned jurisdiction.

- Regular visits to utility offices and follow up for the progress and collection of required documents

- Ability to multi-task effectively and balance time between project delivery and other area activities effectively.

- Participating in the meetings at the client office.

- Engaging Supervisors in the works and getting work done by them on time.
