Job Purpose:

To Lead Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Process teams alongwith their execution agencies for installtion of Integrated Cement Plant ensuring Safety & Quality within the time Schedule.

Key Accountabilities

Prepare & monitor Pre-project activities - To prepare pre-project activities list based on site specific requirements

- To seek inputs from the HO team for finalising the list of pre-project activities

- To ensure the completion of activities on Site before commencement of project

Project Charter - Signing off project schedule developed by HO project cell with all the stake holders and ensuring compliance of the same.

- Based on above project schedule, develop micro level plan on weekly/monthly basis and monitor.

- Organisising brain storming sessions with all the stakeholeders for risk assessment and mitigation plan.

Resource Planning - Ensure mobilization of resources from all stake holders as per the contract condition

- Periodic review of the resources and highlighting to project cell for any additional requirement

- Ensuring statutory complainces of all the resources mobilized by sake holders ( like cranes, heavy construction equipments etc)

Cost Control & Optimization:

Monitor the civil construction of the Project within the allocated budget to keep the cost under control by effective utilization of resources with no compromises. - Study, Review & Implement cost reduction practices.

- effective/Control utilization of contractor manpower and overtime.

- Preparation of budget & seeking approval.

- Monitor consumption of resources with respect to budget.

- Monitor & control contractor cost

- Alternate material/design change development and trials.

Driving Innovation in Project Execution - Planning and exploring innovative ways in project execution,quality and safety management.

- Consistently motivating team for bringing new perspective in project execution

Ensuing delivery and Sacking/Retrieval of Equipments - To develop a material storage and stacking plan in coorodination with materials department. Ensuring easy retrieval of material as and when required without any impact of project execution.

- Coordinate with Project-HO cell for inspetction of equipment and delivery schedule.

- Review delivery schedule time to time and flag off for expedting to ensure no time loss on account of delivery of equipment

Engineering / Drawings - Review of drawing schedule time to time and flag off for expedting to ensure no time loss on account of receipt of drwaiings at site for execution.

Fabrication & Erection - Protocol to be maintained for Fabrication & Erection as per the equipment supplier requirement

- Erection of equipment ensuring as per the supplier guideline

People Development - Working continuously for uplifting of skill level and capabilities to develop the team for taking higher responsibility
