Project Lead - Automotive (4-7 yrs)
Job Description :
We are hiring a Project Lead to manage new product development and change management projects for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) clients in the automotive industry. The role requires effective leadership to ensure timely delivery of products with the right quality and cost.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet development and production timelines.
- Coordinate the production of prototype parts for customer build events.
- Communicate with customers for reporting and project updates.
- Manage engineering changes to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Prepare project budgets and ensure adherence throughout the development phase.
- Collaborate with the supply chain for prototype scheduling and production plans.
- Work with technical teams to manage imported tools and project timelines.
- Resolve issues from prototype builds by implementing corrective actions.
- Finalize the Bill of Materials in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with project management processes and quality standards.
Key Skills and Competencies :
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with International Organization for Standardization and Technical Specification standards.
- Proficiency in quality management tools including Five S, Quality Control tools, and Eight Disciplines problem-solving methodology.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design tools such as CATIA and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
