Job Description: Project Manager - High-Rise Building

Location: Bengaluru

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in managing high-rise building projects of at least one project of 2.5 lakh square feet from inception to handover. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a deep understanding of construction processes, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Coordination : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project specifications and goals.

Stakeholder Management : Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies. Provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns promptly.

Budget Management : Oversee project budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and managed effectively. Implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns.

Risk Management : Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure project stability.

Quality Assurance : Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to specifications.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed records of project progress, changes, and communications. Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding project milestones and performance metrics.

Team Leadership : Lead a diverse team of construction professionals, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications :

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience : 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least one completed high-rise building project of 2.5 lakh square feet or larger.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite. Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methodologies.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and propose effective solutions.

Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with sustainable building practices or green certifications.
