Job responsibility

- Review and approve adequate project plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor efficiency, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness along with human utilization.

- Review performance against plans and standards. Provides reports to subordinates on interpretation of results and approves changes in direction of plans. Managing critical activities.

- Ensure setting up of milestones for quality inspections, project review and monitoring the same.

- Developing and discussing matters requiring a decision with the management team.

- Develop specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

- Review and approve cost control reports, cost estimates, yearly and interim budgets.

- Manpower and facilities requirements planning while mobilization of site and at interim levels.

- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.

- Establish objectives and procedures governing the performance of assigned activities. Issues specific annual objectives to immediate subordinates and reviews objectives of the Operations management.

- Select and maintain qualified personnel in all positions reporting directly and recommends compensation, incentives and rewards for stand-out performances.

- Directing, monitoring, and appraising the performance of units, immediately reporting and providing the necessary coordination between activities.

- Identifying training needs, initiating development of subordinates & recommending effective personnel action.

- Ensuring timely monitoring through MIS and site visits.

- Setting up the milestones with the team and managing team's performance of project tasks.

- Ensure the coordination and completion of client requirements while meeting production goals and objectives of the organization.

- Communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team, and, in general, ensuring the budget and Project time line are within the mandate given.

- Deploy and lead various operational initiatives related to regional vision, strategy, Profit Plan & Strategic Plan alignment and goal expectations.

- Authorizing payments release, Liaison with Client and Consultant, Sub-Contractors.

- Conducting Progress Review Meetings.

- Finalization, laisoning and deployment of sub-contractors, vendors for every project. Their assessment on regular basis to ensure the project benefits.

- Organizing construction, supervision including execution, Quality Assurance, checking of

- Measurement, revision of design of Highway, bridges and CD Works.

- Interacting with section In-charge on day to day basis and coordinate to solve problems by conducting meetings at site and office, deliberating necessary guidelines as per site requirements to achieve the target.

- Ensuring indenting activities are in alignment with planned material consumption.

- Maintaining the Cash Flow, Profit and Loss sheet on monthly and annual basis.

- Evaluating the capacity, qualification and suitability of sub-contractors. Rate negotiations for Sub-contractors, Transporters, and Suppliers.

- Preparation of Claims and Variations and its finalization for approval.

- Finalization of plant and equipment requirement as per the scope and timeline of a project.

- Acting as an apex point within the organization, clients, contractors, consultant, vendors for smooth functioning of the projects.
