Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager / Planning Manager to lead construction projects and manage project planning for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The role also requires strategic planning, resource management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work programs to meet the project's goals. Define project milestones, timelines, and critical paths using planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.

- Project Execution: Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards. This includes supervising site activities, resolving technical and logistical challenges, and maintaining strong coordination between all teams.

- Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage resources effectively.

- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure contingency plans are in place for delays or issues that may arise during construction.

- Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate project resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, to meet project demands efficiently.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams. Facilitate regular meetings to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with client expectations.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities meet established quality standards, building codes, and client specifications.

- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Provide regular status updates, including budget and schedule adherence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

- 2 to 5 years of experience in project management or planning roles within the construction industry.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion.

- Proficiency in project management and planning software such as Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with stakeholders at all levels.

- Knowledge of construction contracts, legal guidelines, and safety regulations.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in handling projects related to [specific area, e.g., residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.].

- Professional certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar are a plus.
