Projects Design Engineer - Mechanical (3-10 yrs)
Education : BE/Diploma - Instrumentation/Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Mechanical

Job Profile : Proficiencies & Skills Required :
- Overall equipment conceptualization & Design experience in Equipment/machine assembly lines of High-speed automation, switchgear manufacturing, pharma equipment, packaging machines, SPMs
- Good hands-on on application & selection of vision, inspection, dispensing, measurement, leak test, pick & place, precision welding etc.
- Quick & holistic conceptualization of the solution (Electromechanical)
- Techno-commercial angle while proposing a solution.
- Good Technical coordination & communication with customer & internal team
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Directs and coordinates engineering activities for Hi-speed automation CE automation project, support proposal team on technical front. Produce design artifacts which may include design reports, station process, solution drawings, time study, CBO selection, Process flowcharting.
- Perform feasibility studies; define design parameters, component /product specification/process Specification and test parameters to ensure optimum quality and reliability.
- Develop the concept and design for new commodity/ project and ensure that the integrity of this design is maintained throughout the project life cycle.
- Establishes or assists in establishing the detailed project execution plan and the development of the overall project engineering schedule.
- Analyzing and discovering customer problem statement, issues, expectations & specs, as well as concept proposed. Present possible optimistic solution for discussion, establishes the scope and deliverables with client. Display high level understanding of the cost incurred in new requirement during discussion and give ballpark figures during client meeting to arrive at quick decision.
- Understand & freeze process requirements for the automation.
- Manages the flow of information require from customer and third parties to assure the timely progress of the engineering work. Own the design solution and demonstrate capability to customer.
- Ensure that technical assessment/ solutions are comprehensive and competent, adhering all safety practices and procedures as per requirements.
- Close ended communication over complex technical issue resolution, with all stakeholders.
- Project schedule - progress review & communicate time estimates to the management and client & obtain their buy-in.
- Responsible for technical design approvals from client and single point contact for any technical issue to client and internal teams working on the project.
