Proposal Engineer - Civil (5-14 yrs)
Experience :
- Minimum 5 Years of experience in handling and preparing proposals related to Govt. Infrastructure Projects such as Roads, Highways, irrigation dams and canals etc.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Office.
- Well-versed with the government hierarchy and approval procedure.
- Should be able to communicate with client about the project specifications and prepare proposals in timely manner.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Proposal Development :
- Develop detailed project proposals, including technical, commercial, and financial aspects.
- Create project schedules, cost estimates, and project plans.
- Incorporate innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet client needs.
Project Understanding :
- Conduct in-depth analysis of project specifications, drawings, and documents to grasp project scope.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a deep understanding of project requirements.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain accurate records of proposal activities, communications, and outcomes.
- Generate reports on the status of proposals and conversion rates.
Technical Expertise :
- Ensure that proposals are technically sound, accurate, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists to design and present technical solutions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using software tools like Microsoft Office, project management software, and proposal development software.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
