Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess an Omani Driving License or GCC DL (preferred), with experience in working with the Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) being advantageous. As a Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to protection relay testing, troubleshooting, schematic study, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting testing and maintenance of protection relays across different types of systems.

- Troubleshooting issues related to protection systems and implementing effective solutions.

- Conducting thorough schematic studies to ensure system integrity and reliability.

- Independently carrying out commissioning activities to ensure smooth operation of protection systems.

Requirements:

- Omani Driving License or GCC DL (preferred).

- Experience working with the Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) is advantageous.

- Proficiency in all aspects of protection relay testing, troubleshooting, schematic study, and commissioning activities.

- Strong understanding of transmission utilities up to 400kV system.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is dependent on experience, with a maximum of RO 700-750 per month.

Working Hours:

Working hours will comply with Oman Labour Law regulations.

Leave Schedule:

Employees will be entitled to 30 days of leave with basic salary annually, as per company policy.

Medical:

The company will provide medical coverage, excluding Ophthalmology and Dental, in accordance with Oman Law.

Accommodation:

Bachelor accommodation will be provided at the work location.

Food:

Food allowances are included in the salary package.
