Desired Candidate Profile :

- Has Strong Organizing skills.

- Experience in Medium / Large scale manufacturing company

- Should be able to read engineering drawing.

- Must possess excellent communication skills

- Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.

- Must be open to adapt to using customized software's for preparing & managing purchases.

- Must be a good team player, proactive in nature.

- Must have Solution oriented approach.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the entire SCM process

- Understanding the technical data and specifications that a designer or technician requires or provides

- Communicating equipment needs to the supplier.

- Evaluating supplier options

- Negotiating with suppliers on points like price, schedule, quantity and packaging

- Evaluating vendors and procurement strategies for efficiency and value

- Making purchase orders, following up on deliveries & ensuring the receipt of supply as per plan

- Assisting purchase manager for legal and contractual responsibilities for both the supplier and the company

- Coordinating with QC and arrange for Periodic Vendor Assessment and Rating.

- Coordinating with QC and arrange Inspection call.

- Coordinating within departments like planning, production, accounts, stores & quality control dept for requisition/ planning, quality approval, payments, rejections etc.

- Involved in making MIS for purchase/ procurement dept

- Intermediate knowledge of Import documentation

- Responsible for coordinating with freight forwarders & CHA (Custom House Agents)

- Responsible for coordinating/ negotiating with the freight forwarders & suppliers

- Responsible for maintaining updated status reports of the international & domestic supplies

- Follow-up with Accounts for timely payment to vendor.

- Ensure compliance to ISO procedures for procurement of materials
