Purchase Engineer - Tendering (5-7 yrs)
Job Description :
- Prepare technical or commercial clarifications along with Quotation and Tender Documents.
- Prepare & submit Technical and Financial bids given by the Head of Department.
- Prepare Quotations and send to the customers.
- Prepare Order Acceptance Form and send to the customers.
- Prepare and submit Private sector quotation via email.
- Buying as per quality Specs, Right price, and correct source.
- Responsible for supporting procurement activities within region or geography.
- Negotiate best price with the vendor and finalize the price.
- Souring and building strong relationship with vendors to get the best quality, at best prices.
- Provide information for vendor registration.
- Prepare Order Confirmation and Proforma invoices for Purchase Orders.
- Prepare & submit Offline bids along with Tender Documents.
- Follow up status of tender.
- Monitor market changes, price, and products
Desired Candidate Profile :
- B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Government recognized institute.
- 5 -7 years experience as a site engineer/supervisor/project manager in installations/operation maintenance or refurbishment in Pumping Stations/Manufacturing plants/Substation/Power Plants/ Large industry.
- Should have good communication and time management skills.
- Should be flexible on timings and on call as required.
