- The person should be from modern trade background (should have worked retail company in Bigbazaar/ Easy day / Spensers/ More.

- Should be graduate and MBA will be a plus point but its not a deal breaker.

- Effective communication skill and good hold on vernacular language.

- The good, deep routed and strong relationship with Consumer product companies.

- Candidates working in Local online grocery company like Grofers / Bigbaskets etc will be a plus point. Best fit would be from the sourcing/merchandising(for sourcing function) and the retail sales teams(for sales functions) of companies like Best Price Metro Reliance Fresh Big Bazar

Job Description :

- Sourcing guideline

- Pick up candidates from Retailing /Modern trade company ideally suited

- Working with companies having multiple outlets in the city or the branded one's like easy day/ Big bazaar

The person will be reporting to the leadership team :

- Minimum exp has to be 5 years

- Max current salary should be 65K

Key Responsibilities :

1. Overall responsibility for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities across the business

2. Create and implement best practice purchasing processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance.Candidate will be managing invoices & day to day activities.

3. Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers in close coordination with sourcing team.

4. Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process

5. Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and proposals as well as ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements.

Mandatory Skills :

- Candidate should be a Graduate or Post Graduate

- Should have demonstrated experience working in purchase department of any E-commerce co or FMCG Modern Trade Companies like Best Price, Metro, Big Basket, Grofers, Reliance, Future Bazar etc

- Candidate must have good negotiation skill & must be very articulate.
