Purchase Manager - Automobile

- You will be responsible for handling and managing materials flow for smooth functioning of Production activities.

- Procurement of consumables Spares / Items for Engineering/ Production function viz. Electrical items, Instrumentations items (A.C Drive & PLC), Chemical items etc.

- Managing vendors for Maintenance of Plant/ office equipment's viz. Motors, Machines etc.

- Procurement of Safety items as Fire extinguishers etc.

- Procurement of Office Equipment- s/ Gen. Admin item viz. stationary, Chairs, Uniform etc.

- Item & Vendor Master creation /Updation

- Identify/ search/ finalize vendors as per process for Annual Maintenance Contract

- Should be able to develop New Vendors.

- Able to maintain agreements as per the process, coordination with internal customers and track SLA.

- Ability in sourcing of Paints, fasteners, maintenance related purchases, imports procedure, CAPEX purchases, Tools and Dies.

- Should have knowledge in ISO Quality Systems

- Ability to organize Logistics Support

- To ensure planning of raw materials/consumables and bought outs.

- To ensure timely material scheduling to suppliers.

- To ensure timely delivery of requirements to your internal customers to avoid internal and customers line stoppage.

- To control premium freight incidents/cost.

- Controlling of daily/weekly/monthly stock position of raw materials/consumables and bought outs.

- Finalization of Quotations as per the company rules and negotiation with the Party

- Sort-out the issue with supplier regarding Quality and delivery.

- Cost saving YOY basis as per the AOP.

- Reconciliation of Raw Materials at supplier end and company and Tool status audit on quantity basis

- To support in implementation of TPM & MSES A activities

- Any other task entrusted to you from time to time

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. B.E/ Diploma in Mechanical with experience of 10-15 Years in Sourcing with a Automobile Fasteners Preferably or a Automotive Industry

2. Has experience of supplier identification on and early sourcing on new model programmes

3. Has experience of supplier appraisals and capability assessments

4. Has experience of the RFI & RFQ processes

5. Has experience of negotiations with suppliers and stakeholders

6. Fully understands the role of the Programme Sourcing Manager, category management and the inter-relationship between the roles
