Our Client is hiring for Purchase Manager
The Job
You will be responsible for :
Leading and executing sourcing strategies to attain targets.
Working as a part of a multidisciplinary team to translate the ideas and plans for buildings into actual structures.
Overseeing workplace health and safety and ensuring it is in line with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Directing and overseeing the organisation's purchasing functions.
Negotiating large purchase contracts and ensuring best terms and conditions.
Developing policies related to procurement of goods and services.
Reducing the number of suppliers and ensuring cross functional total cost of ownership supplier offer selection.
Analysing categories of spend to determine potential opportunities regarding cost optimisation.
Ensuring compliance with commercial / technical requirements.
Coaching, motivating and developing team members and ensuring high operational standards.
Providing leadership, direction and strategy with respect to Inventory Management.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and regularly monitoring key aspects of supplier performance.
Improving overall inventory accuracy, accountability and reporting achieved by ensuring best practice process and procedures are in place.
Monitoring all aspects of inventory flows and process and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity.
Ensuring the delivery of high quality of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction work, in line with project cost, schedules and timelines.
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality fit-outs and furniture, in line with project cost, schedules and timelines.
Selecting, monitoring and managing performance of vendors.
Performing procurement and related activities to meet the project's cost, schedule and quality requirements.
Pre-qualifying and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best possible service quality and terms.
Periodically reviewing project procurement plans and strategies for effectiveness and relevancy.
Defining the strategic sourcing and procurement strategy and taking responsibility for its execution and realization.
Managing a team of 1-5 people.
Ideal Candidate
Skills Required:
You have at least 5 years experience ideally as a Construction, Inventory Manager or Buyer / Procurement within Real Estate.
You possess excellent negotiating skills with a strong ability to influence people of all levels.
You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
