Job Description :

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: INCLUDES:

- The candidate will be responsible for all purchase of RMPM and consumables are as per the requirements

- Physical stock taking of all materials on monthly basis o Follow up of materials and controlling inventory at optimum level.

- Effective handling procurement of material by analyzing & comparing rates of various vendors.

Keeping track of:

- Receipt & issue of materials from stores to production basis the requirements

- Perpetual inventory control systems, bin card & stores ledger.

- Reviewing all entries in SAP w.r.t raising PO & inventory management.

Carrying out analysis of:

- Physical stock vs. book stock on monthly basis.

- Stock ageing w.r.to RMPM.

- FG & others Production Planning & Control.

Procurement Planning :

- Interfacing with cross functional departments for ascertaining procurement plans of raw materials. Budgeting and planning the funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost savings & meeting anticipatory orders.

Vendor Management.

- Identifying and developing potential vendors / suppliers for achieving cost effectiveness.

- Developing long-term partnerships with vendors; managing day-to-day vendors performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms

- Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan.4-Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory.

- Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which

- Cause Production and financial losses.

- Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.

- Releasing monthly schedules, Procurement of Materials, Spares & Consumables.

- Implementing Strategic procurement solutions for various commodities like to drive effective procurement at competitive prices.

- Procurement of packaging items like Wrappers, mono cartons, corrugated boxes, PET jars, PVC trays, polybags, labels, sleeves etc.

- Manage the complete budgeting and cost estimation for Procurement and inbound Logistics.

- Manage the imports from various countries across the globe.

- Drive the new vendor development and value engineering initiative to deliver cost improvement. Developing highly professional self- sufficient supplier base for Packaging and Raw Materials.

- Managing the inbound logistics of all Raw materials and Packaging materials.

- Inventory management and vendor evaluation techniques.

- Developing excellent rapport with internal and external customers.
