Purchase Manager - Inventory/Material Management (12-16 yrs)
Qualification : B. E. Mechanical + MBA in Materials Management / Diploma in Materials Management
Key Responsibilties :
- Procurement of Raw Materials and components from domestic suppliers and non-production, consumables and capital items etc.
- Manage of import items/spares from China
- Inventory management
- Source through identification of cost effective vendors/suppliers for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability
- Assess performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as quality systems, rejections, quality improvement, rate, timely delivery etc.
- Develop quality culture at vendors end through evaluation, auditing and guidance
- Define and implement the purchase policies for meeting the Company Strategy.
- Implement SAP MM Module
- Continuous cost reduction in material procurement
