Purchase/Procurement Manager - Electrical/Instrumentation (12-14 yrs)
Job Description for Purchase & Procurement HOD:
1. Technical discussion with vendor
2. Good communication skills
3. Excellent negotiation skills
4. Team player
5. Able to work with minimal supervision
6. Able knowledge of MS Office applications
7. Candidates from Electrical/Instrumentation background only need to apply.
8. Ensure parts and materials are finalized at the most competitive price and delivered on time at site.
9. Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company's needs.
10. Identify new suppliers and negotiate agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates.
11. To carry out a comprehensive review of the procurement function and its methodology and identify and implement improvements.
12. Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
13. Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
14. Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier performance.
15. Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
16. Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
17. Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.
18. Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement
