Purchase & Procurement Specialist - Logistic (2-3 yrs)
Job Description :
Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing and soliciting competitive bids, quotations and proposals with pertinent specification, terms and conditions, as needed Reviews purchasing requisitions in accordance with business requirements & Budgets Performs requisitions processing and issuing & approves POs.
- Utilizes techniques such as supplier partnership, strategic alliances, supply chain, management and supplier training programs. Assist in preparation and/or issuance of contract and POs.
- Expedite deliveries and conduct follow-up procedures when necessary Performance root cause analysis & cash flow optimization as applicable. Resolve basic contract and PO difference with suppliers.
- Researches and assists in resolving issues raised in purchasing audit reports Supports the development of combined baseline and savings documents where applicable.
- Develops internal and external relationship with suppliers and functional teams. Resolves supplier performance problems with suppliers and user department and helps identify measurements for improvement and target setting.
- Coordinates, reviews and responds to supplier inquires. Supports management of compliance and non-compliance to preferred supplier list. Support supplier onboarding & enablement Understand and communicate purchasing policies and procedures
