Pyramid Infratech - Structural Engineer (13-26 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Designing structural elements for large-scale projects, including analyzing survey reports, topographical maps, zoning restrictions and client requirements to ensure specifications meet project goals.
- Highly should be experienced in wide range of areas including design of high-rise RC, steel, pre-stressed concrete, etc for residential/Commercial building, and public utility buildings.
- Review blueprints, plans and change orders to verify structural integrity of materials and designs, and perform complex calculations and use modeling methods to ensure correct design approach.
- Inspect existing buildings and structures to gauge their structural health and integrity.
- Ensure project completion within budget and time constraints.
- Collaborate and communicate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are on the same page.
- Will be using his technical expertise to help his team members in their design activities, resolve any technical queries which might arise, check and approve designs and drawings.
- Good knowledge of static and dynamic analysis, working out scale factors in each directions, checking the lateral translations, building fundamental periods, building accelerations against the design code requirements or specialists literature
Skills:
- Reasonably good hands-on experience working with various analytical and design software like Etabs/SAFE/StadPro/ Prokon/ etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in CIVIL Engineering preferably from Tier 1 institutes like IIT/NITs. A postgraduate degree (MTech-Structure) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience in Structural Engineering, with a focus on building structures.
