QA Manager - FMCG (10-12 yrs)
Our client is a leading packaged food company and is among the top 3 brands in baked goods in the North Indian market. Founded in 1982, the company boasts of internationally certified production methods and facilities. Its unparalleled quality and world -class innovative products are what has made one of the leading FMCG company.They have a diverse client base across sectors including retail, institutional and QSR clients as well as are present internationally with their products being exported to Europe, Africa, Middle East, US and Australia. A group of PE funds have recently been acquired by the company that will soon help in expanding the production, making it one of the top national level packaged food players. The company is already among the top 3 in its segment in North India.
As the QA Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the QA function of the unit that involves Bread and Burger Buns business.The other key responsibilities will be as follows:
-Manage, monitor and improve the qc of input materials and finished product
-Quality Assurance to ensure defect free product (within agreed limit)
-Food safety & GMP Ensure safe product and GMP compliance against the stipulated norms
-Vendor QA Audit, develop and manage major RM & PM vendors
-Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance against FSSAI, legal metrology and pollution control norms (only the testing and reporting)
-Handling and managing customer complaints
-Documents control Effective management of current set of documents and work towards a paperless documentation
-Certification Take lead role in managing and complying to SQMS, FSSC 22000 certification
-Manage, develop and steer a team of 15 members to the best performing level
-Taking ew Initiatives try to lead the team with 5S culture that will help improve the quality culture of the unit
-Understand the requirement of the customers and coordinate with them to the best of their satisfaction
Candidate Profile:
-Complete Knowledge of Food safety and GMP
-Thorough knowledge of FSSC 22000 requirements
-Should be able to manage pressure situation
-Should have sound communication skill
-Good interpersonal skill
-Hard working with result orientation
-B Tech in Food Technology or M Sc in Chemistry with 10-12 yrs experience in QA function
-Candidates with hands on experience of 3-4 yrs in bakery will be given preference
