The Client : Leader in flow control solutions and part of a large conglomerate.
Qualification : Post Graduate Engg / Graduate Engg
Experience : 10 - 15 years in foundry /valve background
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the suppliers mainly foundries are meeting the requirements of company. API Spec Q1, ISO 9001, PED
- Ensure rejection/Rework control at Supplier End
- Select the potential suppliers based on the company's process and product requirements
- Identify the issues at supplier end and resolving the issues through technical analysis
- Impart training to the suppliers on API Spec Q 1, ISO, EMS, PED and other requirements in order to be in line with company Set Goal Achievement
- Hand holding and upgrading the vendor through technical knowhow on crisis management
- Conduct Surprise Audits and periodic Scheduled audits with vendors, Identify and address gap
- Implement the process owner approach concept in supplier end, through implementation of basic requirements like process sheets, process flow, Quality plan
- To conduct training on QMS, EMS & OHSAS requirements to employees, Workmen & contractors
- Have Knowledge on Calibration and implement Calibration of monitoring measuring equipments
- Take corrective and preventive measures at supplier end based on customer's voice and verifying implantations effectiveness at periodic audits and deploying horizontally
- To ensure continual improvement based on customer requirements, codes & standards
- Able to identify and implement SMED, and JIT by hand holding with supplier in order to meet productivity and delivery
- To conduct training on QMS, EMS & OHSAS requirements to all employees.
