- Initially the plant was installed with a capacity of producing 600tpd (ton per day) of Portland cement. With the passing of time the demand increased day by day. Therefore the sponsors expanded the project thrice.

- By dint of quality THEY soon gained acceptability both at home and abroad which raised the necessity for expanding the plant from initial 600tpd (ton per day), 800tpd 2nd unit in 2002, 1400tpd 3rd unit in 2006 and 3000tpd 4th unit in 2011 thereby raising the total production capacity to 5800tpd i.e. 1.740 million metric ton per annum.

- This Cement pioneered in export of cement in 2003 and paved the way for earning hard-earned foreign currency. Recently THIS Cement Achieved the National Export Trophy (Gold) twice for attaining the top most place among the cement exporters in Bangladesh.

Job description :

The primary duties of this position are to create & develop mix design, testing, and documentation of product mixes to ensure high quality concrete products in the company ready mix division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Performs quality control tests on aggregate and concrete products including but not to, field testing (slump, air content, unit weight, cylinders, etc), gradations on production aggregates, and lab work (compression testing and scheduling), mixes and tests trial batches.

- Maintains all necessary certifications for testing procedures.

- Maintains lab area and lab equipment according to industry quality control standards.

- Prepares documentation for company personnel and contractors certifying the product quality. Maintains accurate computer data base and reports.

- Effectively communicates and responds to production and customer needs. Must attend jobsites to address customer service and quality control needs.

- Prepare QA/QC reports to management as required. Keep a system to track achievement of mix performance vs. projected goals. Monitor customer satisfaction through direct feedback and analysis of quality benchmarks (rejection, cylinder failures, etc.)

- Conducts all business activity and customer relationships in a highly ethical manner.

- Works closely with plant managers and company presidents. Works with Fleet Manager and Facility Manager regarding company vehicle and plant equipment respectively. Works with Compliance Manager regarding the health, safety and environmental programs. Works with Controller regarding all types of communication and testing equipment.

- Performs other functions and duties as required or directed.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Must have at least 5 years experience in ready-mix concrete industry

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Good computer operating skills (general windows applications)

- The candidate should be conversant with modern technology and practices related to RMC the incumbent should be able to Head a number of RMC Plants situated in different location.

- The candidate should have good communication skill in Bengali & English, must be able to organized & maintain proper documentation, Interested with logistics & marketing etc department and send reports to the management as per the company rules.

- The Company will provide the bachelor accommodation & transportation.

- The work permit will also be arrange be the company on in own cost.
