Quality Control/Packaging Executive - Chemical Industry (5-10 yrs)
Job Requirements : Bachelors or master degree in science preferred with min. 5 years of experience in packing department from Chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment
- Study production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements
- Inspect products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to operations function
- Observe packaging operations and inspect containers to verify conformance to specifications
- Analyze and determine all standards for packaging lines and ensure compliance
- Coordinate with warehouse, materials and stores function to monitor everyday activities of units and ensure efficient working
- Develop team environment in the function and resolve all packing issues in coordination with quality department
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with all external vendors and contractors and improve efficiency process through incorporation of new technology
- Load correct labels and literatures in packaging components to ensure accuracy of packaging
- Report any problems or deviations in packaging procedures on an immediate basis to ensure that incorrect packaging does not take place
- Prepare associated packaging documentation according to provided SOPs
- Reporting of all abnormalities to department manager
- Coordinating with Materials function to ensure the availability of required packaging material
