The Job
You will be responsible for :
1. Quality Management System:
- Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) for construction projects.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
2. Inspections and Testing:
- Perform on-site inspections to verify construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Coordinate and oversee material testing and quality control processes.
- Document and report non-conformities and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Facilitate communication between different project stakeholders to resolve quality concerns and maintain a collaborative working environment.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities.
- Prepare comprehensive quality reports for management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall project quality.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements to ensure the company remains at the forefront of quality standards.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 3 to 4 years of Quality Assurance experience in execution of roads and bridges
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
