Desired Qualities :

1. Working experience must in weld electrode industry

2. Product Quality Control & Assurance, Physical & Chemical laboratory testing of steel.

3. Well conversant with process route/process control of welding electrode manufacturing.

4. Sound knowledge of calibration, documentation, quality aspects, process control and MIS

5. Should possess hands on experience with Spectrometers, Universal Testing Machines, Bend and other tests conducted on weld assembly test piece.

6. Should be able to assess quality issues during production, liaise with production team for zero defects/rejection owing to quality of products.

7. Should possess analytical skills for investigations leading from quality issues and formulate Corrective & preventive Action

8. Good communication and presentation skills, Generation of Monthly Quality reports as required

9. Self-starter / motivated, should be able to lead the team with initiatives

10. Should train and educate local staff on quality parameters

Responsibilities :

1. Implementation of Total Quality Management plan for zero defects

2. Primary responsibility of welding electrode plant quality control and assurance

3. Maintain quality records, data analysis, identification of raw materials and finished goods and documentation.

4. Maintain log of records for equipment calibration and servicing

5. Inspection and record of incoming raw materials, FG, WIP and stock management of FG

6. Developing a team of competent Staff, Technicians and work force within the department

7. Supervision and coordination of entire quality functions of the plant

8. Working with other staff to implement the company's policies and goals

9. Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed

10. Train local staff on entire quality aspects related to welding rod plant.
