Position Quality Executive (Male/Female)

Location : Ankleshwar

Reports : QA & CI Manager

Purpose : To plan, implement, monitor, measures and improve processes in the department to achieve desired business goals.

Objectives/Job Details :

- Support Quality Management systems (ISO 9001:2015) in the plant, to profitably fulfil customer expectations.

- Customer contact in the plant for all Quality related issues. Periodic visits to customer sites. Voice of the customer in the plant.

- Participate in driving achievement of Quality assurance objectives in manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and implementing best practices.

- Model our Corporate Guiding Principles (MBM), maintain and grow the culture, strive for Operational excellence in product, process quality and reliability.

- Interact with all processes and cross functional teams to implement necessary quality tools in all aspects of organization such as, but not limited to PFMEA, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, Equipment PFMEA and Validation, Advanced problem solving, and 6 Sigma.

- Support and facilitate structured containment measures with the use of problem-solving methods (8D, DMAIC, 5WHY, Cause mapping- ) and implement permanent corrective actions.

- Maintain proper Measurement systems and all necessary statutory and regulatory compliance in relation to applicable product standards.

- Draft quality assurance policies and procedures

- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards

- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data

- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems

- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues

- Collect and compile statistical quality data

- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

- Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers

- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions

- Monitor risk management activities

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree, with experience of 4 to 6 years, preferably from process industry or automobile.

- Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma

- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience

- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs

- Product or industry-specific experience

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases

- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
