Quality Head (5-10 yrs)
Quality Head:
- Must ensure quality standards in all aspects
- Must understand the client's expectations, needs, specifications and accordingly outline the quality standards and develop quality control processes
- Develop the overall Quality control process for the organization and adhere to the quality standards of the company without any deviation
- Monitor and evaluate the internal production process
- Evaluate the final output of the products and determine their quality
- Engage with customers and gather product feedback and resolve their complaints
- Improve production efficiency and ensure elimination of wastage and damages
- Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
- Establish reliability standards by studying product and customer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians and all stakeholders.
- Implements in process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods and devising testing methods and procedures
- Establishes standards for the disposition of finished product by devising evaluation tests, methods, and procedures
- Creates product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures
- Institutes rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures
- Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
- Completes quality assurance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
- Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards.
- Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
- Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.
- Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.
- Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
- Conducts random inspections and quality control checks.
- Periodically reports status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies.
- On boarding and training new quality control team members
- Investigating root causes of defects and recommending solutions for quality issues
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Need a male candidate from Glass/Glass processing industry or any allied industry who is having hands on experience in Total Quality process.
- 1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2. Certifications in quality control is an added advantage
- 3. Minimum 10+ years experience is required
- 4. Excellent attention towards details
- 5. Excellent written and oral communication
- 6. Proficiency in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil
- 7. Good in statistical analysis and statistical aptitude
- 8. Good interpersonal skill
- 9. Preference will be given to candidate who already worked in Glass Industry, glass processing, Automobile, automotive. allied industries and any continuous process industries.
