Quality Head - Electronics (7-12 yrs)
- Move the culture of the business from content with compliance to aspirational to be world class in the areas of quality, health and safety and the environment;
- Drive a Lean Culture in the business and ensure data driven decisions are used to improve quality.
- Use SPC techniques to improve processes and results
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015
- Position the business in India to achieve ISO 14001 and 18001 in the next two years;
- Represent the business with our major customers, understand their requirements (VOC), perform gap analysis and recommend changes to ensure they are met;
- Proactively recommend improvements that will improve our quality, reduce our costs and the costs of our customers.
- Design, recommend and implement improvements to the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications based on the VOC;
- Define quality procedures, measurements and corrective actions in conjunction with operating staff;
- Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
- Monitor and report on performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
- Development of suitable repair and test processes for product to ensure product reliability.
- Work with Engineering to reduce repair scrap rates
- Ensure packaging developments are designed in a way that is fit for purpose.
