1. Incoming goods inspection :

- Visual inspection 

- Performs complete inspection by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance, between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, 3D coordinate measuring machine (Accurate / Mitutoyo), to ensure product meets specifications

- Able to locate reference point(s) on part and measure dimension such as angle, arc, and radii, using combinations of aids, such as surface plate parallel bars, angle plates, gauge blocks, plug pins, V blocks, sine bars, and precision measuring instruments such as height gage

- Comparison test of the delivered goods against master sample

- Blocking and marking of suspect or defective goods

- Preparation of test plans and compliance with them

- Documentation of the results in the test protocol

2. CMM Inspection :

- Creation of measurement programs (Accurate / Mitutoyo)

- Operation of measuring machine

3. Inspection during series production :

- Inspection of first and last parts/ Assemblies

- Checking the correctness of existing work instructions

4. First article Inspection :

- Inspection of initial sample parts from suppliers

- Documentation of the results in the sampling report

- Communication of the results to the purchasing department

- Planning of acquisition of new test equipment based on technical and economic aspects

5. Supplier complaints :

- Creation of a supplier 8D report

- Documentation of the error(s) in the 8D report

- Increasing the Sample Inspection After Deviation

6. General Requirements :

- Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Assurance Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place

- Maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts
