Quality Manager - Confectionery (8-10 yrs)
- Lead &manage the Quality function in FMCG business for incoming raw material, packaging material, in process goods, final finished goods quality, process audit andcustomer support
- Design and implement stringent quality management systems to enhance quality of products & ensure compliance with quality, environment, health & safety standards
- Prepare and maintain entire production quality related SOPs and reports for FMCG products
- Perform on-going data analysis of product and process outputs for early detection and root cause analysis, to prevent quality issues, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage and maintain the company's internal quality audit program for audits - internal and external
- Assess the performance of the RM, PM and FG vendors based on various criteria such as percentage of rejections, quality improvement rate etc.
- Conduct verification audits to identify gaps (NCs) in compliance to QMS and follow up on closure reports in order to ensure compliance and process implementation
- Act as a point of contact for issue resolution, for escalation of all quality related issues in order to ensure process risks are continuously mitigated and improved.
- Ensure first time right quality in new product manufacturing through rigor in process transfer /quality systems & processes
- Work with manufacturing, marketing and new product development teams to help introduce new products
- Ensureimplementation of policies, procedures, manual as per system and records are maintained
- Provide In house trainings to team on GMP,HACCP, Hygiene & Food safety issues
