We at RRB are looking for an Electric Engineer for our Baddi factory. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for all Manufacturing Maintenance activities within their area of responsibility. The key points of contact for the Maintenance Engineer are the Maintenance Manager, Site Engineering Manager, SHE Manager, Project Manager, Operations Managers, Value Stream Managers, Quality management, external suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities:

- To ensure that all items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standard to ensure that their performance is safe, reliable and in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) whilst at the same time continually improving performance, plant and systems to support the development of the Manufacturing Facilities and contributing to the Supply function meeting its customer service, quality and cost targets.

- Ensure appropriate resources, assets and time are available for the application of a systematic approach to Manufacturing Maintenance which uses performance indicators to routinely deliver targets and drive performance improvement.

- All items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standards to ensure their performance is safe, reliable and in accordance with the principles of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice).

- Monitor operational efficiency of all plant and equipment, identifying areas of under performance or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement.

- Monitor plant reliability and capability to identify areas of issue or opportunity and implement plans to deliver improvement.

- Maintaining a high level of communication at all levels.

- Establish and improve maintenance management systems and procedures to meet all appropriate needs.

- Ensure weekly maintenance review and planning meetings are routinely occurring and effective

- Ensure that a uniform approach to maintenance issues is maintained across the shifts.

- Ensure 100% Compliance for; Safe Operation of Trucks & FLTS, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights & Lock Out Tag Out & Electrical Safety by implementation of Safe Work permit for PM or Major Breakdown Maintenances in Allopathic.

- To reduce the down time less than 2% & making 100% availability of production Machines by arranging spares and maintaining the breakdown data every month in Allopathic.

- To achieve 100 % PM & related cGMP compliance as per regulatory requirement in allopathic by maintaining the Schedule and reconciliation at the end of every month.

- Assessment of raised near Miss BBS, First Aid, Incidents, Accidents and respective CAPA.

Regulatory

- Ensure that policies and procedures comply with company, regulatory and statutory requirements, including in areas of Health and Safety, Environment, cGMP and Quality.

- Implement policies and procedures within company guidelines and site rules.

Continuous Improvement

- Ensure a culture of Continuous Improvement is embedded throughout the Maintenance Team.

- Benchmark maintenance performance and standards against internal and external parties and ensure that improvement opportunities identified are delivered.

Professional Attributes:

- Degree in Engineering (Electrical) with 3 to 5 years- experience in engineering / maintenance / project management roles in pharmaceuticals.

- Line management experience in same / similar environment.

- Knowledge and application of regulatory standards.

- Knowledge and experience of GMP and GEP.

- Knowledge and experience in application of a SAP system.

- Knowledge and understanding of Pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations.

- Must have experience in dealing with staff at all levels of expertise, with the ability to communicate skilfully with people at their level of understanding.

- Knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process and its criticality to the product quality.

- Good IT skills with familiarity of word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and planning software.
