We at RB are looking for a Raw & Packing Materials Buying Manager. The role will be based in Bangladesh.

- b- Responsibilities:- /b-

- b- Raw and packing Materials Procurement:- /b-

- Timely and cost effective procurement of materials from overseas and local sources in accordance with company policies and requirement.

- Devise and implement purchasing strategies of raw and packing materials to achieve purchasing objectives of adding long term sustainable value to the business in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation.

- Contract negotiations, driving cost savings initiatives, and implementing strategic, sourcing best practice.

- Assist Head of procurement to do yearly procurement budget, development of procurement strategies based on analysis of internal purchasing needs, analyzing of external supply market capabilities.

- Improving procurement process through reduction of supply risk, increasing flexibility, leveraging spends category knowledge of operational buyers and internal users through cross regional/cross-functional sourcing teams.

- Negotiate and maintaining prices and longer-term purchase agreements.

- Procurement and PPV reporting

- External and internal benchmarking of raw & packing materials.

- Ensure improvement area in the raw and packing materials

- Monitor and update market trends of commodity price

- In-depth knowledge of developments of blow & injection moulding, laminates, cartons, duplex board and other commodities

- b- Vendor Development:- /b-

- Supplier profiling, screening & selecting supplier as per specification, less lead-time, reliability and through creating competitive situation.

- New vendor Development jointly with internal stakeholders.

- Retaining the vendors that have already been developed.

- Conducting audit of new vendor & finalizing them.

- Responsible for developing and maintaining high level contact with key suppliers. Develop supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly business reviews. Maintain, evaluate, and expand reliable suppliers to effectively achieve cost, availability, and strong supplier management relationships.

- b- Professional Attributes:- /b-

- Bachelor's/ Master degree in business, engineering or related discipline

- More than 6 years experience in procurement

- b- Personal Attributes:- /b-

- Excellent procedure development and writing skills.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication skills, and the ability to skillfully plan

- Strong working knowledge of costs systems and capacity planning, ability to interpret financial and performance data, effective negotiation skills

- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proven ability to collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong human relation skills with influencing abilities in order to work effectively with many functions to ensure the plant performs at the level required to meet customers' satisfaction.

- Proven capability to work with people to achieve positive results.

- Critical Thinking skills are needed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

- Judgement and decision making skills are needed to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

- Ability to identify and translate progressive operating techniques into applications and results.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Excel in advance level, power point, Outlook), JDE/SAP ERP systems.
