Refex Group - Assistant Manager - ESG & Sustainability (5-9 yrs)

Position Summary:

This position is crucial to assist ESG head in day-to-day function which includes but not limited to ESG Data collection and verification, ESH report compilation, initiation of ESG ratings, supervision of energy, waste and water reduction program and monitoring of progress.

Objective of this Role include:

To assist ESG Head to meet the overall objective of ESG Performance Excellence for the Group

Key Deliverables/ KPI's (Measurable): Min 5 deliverables, clear & precise

1. ESG data management and dashboard generation

2. BRSR Report

3. Group Sustainability Report

4. ESG Rating and Disclosure (CDP, GRI and SnP) Report

5. Tracking of progress on Scope 1 and Scope 2 Emission and report generation

6. Water neutrality and carbon emission report

7. Scope 3 quantification for supply chain

Roles:

1. Setting up ESG Data management tool/software, timely collection, and analysis of ESG Data, dashboard generation, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, and annual progress data. He will also be responsible for data review, accuracy, and traceability.

2. Will have the responsibility of GHG emissions calculation for Scope 1,2 and 3 for the group and tracking of progress on energy efficiency and decarbonization.

3. Will work towards water neutrality with close monitoring of water consumption, reduction of freshwater consumption, reuse/recycling, and rainwater harvesting in coordination with the department head.

4. Will work as a prime contact for all green building certifications for the company's facilities and offices and will advise on design aspects working closely with contractors and MEP design consultants.

5. Will help the Head of ESG and Sustainability in the compilation and disclosure of Annual ESG/Sustainability Reports for different entities within Refex Groups.

6. Will work with the Head of ESG for ESG compliance of Refex Group's value chain partners/suppliers/vendors etc.

7. Will assist the Head of ESG in preparation of report for the Company's ESG ratings and disclosures (S&P CSA, GRI, CDP, MSCI, TCFD, etc.).

8. Development of training module and delivery of ESG training to staff, workers, and sub-contractors.

9. Work with the team for successful implementation and monitoring of CSR projects.

10. Any other jobs as assigned by the Head of ESG and Sustainability from time to time arising as of business need.

11. Scope 3 emission quantification for supply chain

12. To conduct due diligence on EHS and Human Rights on supply chain partners.

Desired Profile:

1. Working knowledge of ESG aspects and KPI setting for corporate sustainability reporting.

2. Sound practical knowledge in waste management and material circularity specially for PV modules.

3. Extensive experience in sustainability data collection, setting of KPIs, analysis and dash board generation.

4. Concept clarity and working knowledge in GHG Accounting, GRI Standard, SASB Standard and IIRC framework.

5. Demonstrated experience in report writing, narratives and content development for sustainability reporting.

6. Strong analytical skill in sustainability data analysis.

7. Exposure to evaluate social and human rights issues in value chain process. Training on Social Due Diligence will be an added advantage.

8. Good understanding on statutory requirement with respect to labour practice, health and safety and environmental pollution control. Should have in hand experience in compliance report preparation and submission to pollution Control Board and other statutory offices.

9. Experience in developing QHSE policies and ISO procedures will be considered favourably.

10. Internal audit experience for ISO 14001 and 45001 is desirable.

11. Experience in development of training material and delivery of ESG training to staff and workforce.
