Position/ Role Title: Regional Technical Centre Head- India

Direct Reports: Corporate Director global R&D

ROLE PURPOSE

The Regional R&D Head drives the innovation process together with the Marketing, and the strategic planning and definition of the innovation pipeline for the region

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Set the regional R&D strategy for region which supports the Company and Regional business strategies

- He/She leads a team of highly skilled engineers/ technicians/ scientists as project managers and R&D Lab Technicians

- Responsible for technical services R&D Lab as it pertains to product testing, analysis, and validation on new products as well as analysing and correcting R&D activities

- Plan, co-ordinate and execute all specific technical tasks in concept ideation, CAD modelling, prototyping, production design detailing, tooling preparation, pre-production design validation and start-up of production

Idea Candidate

- Must have more than 10 years experience in R&D, Innovation Management (for consumer products (non electrical& non - food)

- Master degree in technical field (mechanical engineering, industrial design)

- Fluent English

- Knowledge in injection molding, plastic resins, metal forming, assembly methods

- Knowledge of Industrial Design techniques and prototype modeling methods
