Regional Security Manager - Assets (8-12 yrs)
Ensuring efficient physical security services by third party
Effective protection of asset (lives, buildings, equipment)
Unquestionable integrity and honesty
Understand company processes, established to minimize loss exposure
Carryout loss controls analysis and suggest improvements to the existing processes
Be able to train Security Guards provided by third party, to suit company requirements and assess the suitability of Security Guards provided for the role
Report independently, violations noticed, related to security and safety
Assist in investigations of theft and loss, physical security systems and controls
Be able to carry out assessment of access control and theft prevention, without harming the business flow
Be able to cultivate working relationship with the Government functionaries
Assist the Regional Business Heads with filing and follow up of FIR with Police
Be willing to travel in the region and take full ownership of security related aspects
Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures
Developing work schedules, allocating tasks, and monitoring security personnel performance
Coordinating responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compiling incident reports
He/she should have good knowledge to audit fire risks and implement measures to mitigate fire risk
Understand the security operations budget, monitor expenses, and document processes
Assessment of services provided by contract guard services
Understand the legal framework of security services
Preparation of the monthly reports
Review daily surprise check details carried out by the LP team
Verifying the invoices of security services provider
Be a team person
Able to work independently without supervision
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience
Age: 35-55 years
Armed forces/Police/Corporate Security background
Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel (desirable)
Professional Certifications CPP/PSP/PCI (desirable)
Experience with warehouse, distribution center, or electronic transaction-based services (desirable)
Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity(desirable)
Behavioral competencies
Highest level of integrity and trust; highly credible and willing to express opinions
Willingness to travel for work
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving situations
Communication - demonstrate ability to identify the customer expectation and adjust language/ style to suit the listener
