- Regional Warehousing,planning, forecasting, replenishment and order fulfillment through liaison between sales, commercial, central supply and consumer care

- In my work space, I take care of Regional Supply Chain for the business which includes products such as Mixer Grinders, Irons, Shavers, Groomers, Hair Dryers and Mother & Child Related products

Reporting Relationship: (Please indicate the person(s) to whom jobholder reports and the decisions they would need to approve. If jobholder works in a matrix, please specify all people jobholder reports to.).
Key areas of accountability/RSCM reports in to Head F&D and need to take decisions on :
- Develop the warehousing and transportation function in the regions to enable effective order execution process at minimal costs
- Overall responsibility of Warehouse & Logistics in the region
- Drive Inventory Accuracy in the warehouses to ensure minimum obsolescence and slow moving stocks
- Manage risks both regulatory and safety in warehouses and transportation in the region
- Ensures compliance for all w/h processes in line with Q&R policies
- Take all necessary actions, including the deployment of team objectives, to ensure full compliance with all Business and Q&R policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve issues with Warehouse Service Providers, Transportation Service providers and account team members.
- Work closely with central planning team to ensure customer service, stocks and cost requirement.
- Distribution planning for the region basis alignment between Sales team and central supply team.
- On Time In Full delivery of material from Warehouses to Customers at optimum freight cost
- Management of commercial write off of finish goods.
RSCM has Matrix reporting to Regional Sales Manager to Take decisions on :
- Demand planning for the region with the sales team basis operational plan.
- Manage regional Orderdesk teams for Order fulfilment maximisation through better service levels.
- Enable to sales team to improve the forecast accuracy
- Manage reverse logistics for the business in case of commercial return.
- Calculate Scheme settlement requirements with the customer for clean balance confirmation
- Feedback to the sales team for order conversion, open order thus minimising sale loss.
- Coaching regional sales team on supply chain prospective to the business.
Team :
Warehousing Manager :
- Manage Regional Warehouses (Except RDCs)
- Inventory Accuracy at the respective warehouses
- Ensures compliance for respective w/h in line with Q&R policies
Orderdesk Team :
Accountabilities :
- Take PO from the customer and punch the order on time
- Error less and as per scheme order should be punched
- Materials allocation and BO releasing
- Preparation of MIS for sales team
- Scheme requirement calculation
Peers :
Demand Planner :
- Follow-up for Materials movement for respective plant as per agreed supply plan.
- Feedback about any additional or urgent recruitment in the region
BMs of the region :
- Demand Planning for the branch / channel for rolling 3 months
- Feedback to BMs about forecast accuracy of key ctns in the branch
- Feedback on delivery status to customers.
- Educate to the sales team along with customers about dispatch scheduling to optimise transportation cost.
- Calculate Scheme settlement requirements with the customer for clean balance confirmation
