JD for Sr. R&D Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. R&D Associate to join our product development team. This role will support the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ensure that all products align with brand goals and market trends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for skincare, a strong sense of consumer needs, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities:

- Should have experience in formulation Development & other related activities.

- Candidates should have analytical understanding of product development.

- The job will also involve RM vendor & manufacturing vendors coordination.

- Assist in market product analysis & benchmarking.

- Assist in relevant project documentation.

- Working closely with marketing, brand, consumer complaints, website & social media teams for technical content.

- Will be handling NPD projects from the brief to launch.

- Will be taking lab batches as & when needed once the lab is set up.

- All documentation regarding the project needs to be handled.

- Will be creating artwork documents & regulatory needed documents.

- Will also support Innovation ideas & creating opportunities.

Qualification/Requirement:

- B.Tech or M.Tech Cosmetic Technology/ M.Sc Chemistry.

Work Experience: Minimum 3.5 years in the cosmetic industry.

- Strong analytical technical and problem-solving skills.

- Familiar with working knowledge of the cosmetic industry.

- Should have experience in the cosmetic industry lab for skin care, hair care & suncare.

- Should have understanding of manufacturing process & cosmetic regulatory understanding.

- Should be willing to work in lab taking batches & doing analytical analysis.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
